We are looking for enthusiastic and empathetic Student Counsellor to join our Student Success Team at CloodOn Musica Pvt Ltd. This role is pivotal in building strong relationships with students and instructors, ensuring their satisfaction, and enabling a seamless learning experience.

Location: Onsite – Bangalore

Skills/Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in English, Hindi, and any regional language
• Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities

• Familiarity with basic Excel
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (required)
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in customer support, education, or service-oriented roles

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for students and instructors via calls and emails.
• Understand and resolve queries with empathy and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions and resolutions.
• Share relevant updates and escalate issues when needed.
• Contribute proactively to process improvement and internal knowledge sharing.
• Prepare reports on student feedback, reviews, and retention metrics.
• Provide guidance and support to the SSE team.
• Monitor and minimize student dropouts by identifying early warning signs and taking preventive measures.
• Interact with new students to ensure smooth onboarding and focus on student retention.
• Conduct orientation sessions for new students.
• Act as the primary point of contact for student and parent queries.
• Analyze student feedback and recommend improvements in teachingmethods and support processes.

This position requires the individual to be highly motivated and dedicated to imparting knowledge with a single-minded focus to imbibe and hone the latent talent of all students in the Academy.

Location: Anywhere in India. This position is for an online music teacher, based out of the corporate office or home office as per requirement.

Engagement: Part-time. The teacher would be required to work as per mutually agreed timeslots.

• MA in music or equivalent diploma or certificate in Carnatic music
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience teaching music
• Excellent command over Carnatic Classical
• Comfort with technology (using the internet/computers)
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Good classroom management capability
• Good presentation skills
• Self-motivated and able to motivate others
• Good listening skills

• Laptop / Desktop Computer
• High-speed broadband internet connection
• UPS

Responsibilities:

• Educates students by planning and course of study according to curriculum guidelines of the academy.
• Monitors, assists, corrects, and grades student results by preparing assignments and conducting standardized tests in collaboration with the course director.
• Incorporates the Guru-Shishya philosophy of teaching and matches the course pace along with the pace of the students’ learning capability.
• Incorporates innovative methods of teaching to make learning fun.
• Updates job knowledge by attending faculty meetings, reading musical publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in musical organizations.
